Introduction
Flitsmeister strives to make its services accessible to as many people as possible. With this statement, we inform users about the current status of digital accessibility of our products and our plans for improvement.
Our services
Flitsmeister offers various services aimed at making driving safer and more efficient:
Flitsmeister app: navigation and traffic information while driving.
Website (flitsmeister.nl): information about our products and services.
Webshop (shop.flitsmeister.nl): sale of Flitsmeister hardware and accessories.
Hardware devices: supporting products such as Flitsmeister ONE.
Payment services: including in-app payments for parking actions and webshop transactions.
Current situation
Website and webshop
We are aware that our website and webshop do not yet fully comply with the requirements of the European Accessibility Act. We have started an improvement program and expect accessibility to be significantly improved by the end of 2025.
App
Our app is primarily designed for use in the car. The focus is on a user-friendly interface that can be easily operated and understood from a certain distance. At this time, we are not actively working on further digital accessibility adjustments within the app.
Hardware devices
Our hardware products, such as Flitsmeister ONE, are designed to be used easily and safely while driving. This means the emphasis is on clear signals and usability in the context of driving. Further specific accessibility adaptations are not currently being developed.
Payment services
Both our webshop and the parking functionality in the app use payment services. We ensure that these payment processes are safe and easy to understand. Accessibility of these services is included in our improvement program, with the goal of better aligning these processes with legal guidelines by the end of 2025.
External expertise
To improve the accessibility of our services, we have sought advice from external companies with experience in digital accessibility. The insights and lessons learned from this collaboration are incorporated into future improvements to our website, webshop, app, hardware products, and payment services.
